The Hospitality Team contributes to fellowship activities of Hope Lutheran Church by planning and organizing events of the Congregation, specifically those which involve food preparation and service.
Food for the Soul!
The Need
The Hospitality and Event Team is responsible for all food-related fellowship events held in the Fellowship Hall including food preparation, set-up, service, and clean-up. Ingredients for a successful fellowship event include:
- Team Coordinator to coordinate all event aspects, including cost
- Chefs to handle all menus and food preparation
- Helpers to set up, serve, and clean up
- Dash of willingness to serve
Who can join the Hospitality Team?
Chef volunteers must have knowledge and previous experience in planning, ordering, and preparing food for LARGE groups. Helper volunteers need no previous experience. A willingness to serve is all that’s required.
What’s the time commitment?
Meetings will be scheduled as needed.
The time requirement per event is:
Chef volunteers 4-6 hours
Helper volunteers 2-4 hours
