The crafters group meets at 9AM each Tuesday in classroom 205. They work on several outreach projects including Sojourn Bears, E. R. Comfort Bears, Guidepost Sweaters, Amputee Comfort Sleeves and more. No specific skills are required. The group goes out to lunch once a month.
The Hope Crafters make a variety of crafts to share with adults and children to give them hope and love on life’s journey.
“Truly I tell you, just as you did it
to one of the least of these who are
members of my family, you did it to me.”
To give hope and love on life’s journey —
The Hope Crafters give hope and love for those on life’s journey by making a variety of crafts including stuffed bears for cancer patients and needy children, crosses to give visitors to our services, angel hats, chemo hats and bags, children’s sweaters, lap robes, rolled cotton bandages, dog scarves, woven mats, and favors for assisted living residents at Homewood at Freedom Pointe.
The Hope Crafters need friendly, caring members who wish to bring hope, comfort and love to others through a variety of crafts.
