The Stewardship team encourages all people to joyously share their gifts of time, talent, and treasure with all of God’s people.
Stewardship is “everything I do after I say I believe.” It is managing God’s blessings God’s ways for God’s glory. The team is responsible for creating plans for educating the congregation on how their gifts will be used as well as asking for an annual financial commitment.
And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that you may always have enough of everything and may provide in abundance for every good work. -II Corinthians 9:8
The Stewardship Team works with the pastors and the church council to inform and encourage the Congregation to best answer the question “What is God calling on you to give?” Everyone is of different means and we encourage a broad approach – their time, talents, and treasure. Church members are asked to make their annual financial intentions known each fall so the annual budget can accurately support the church and its ministries.
