Saturday, November 10th
8:30 am – 10:30 am
Would you like to learn a new way to pray?
Christ himself invites us to learn this way in Matthew 6:6, “But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; And your
Father who sees in secret will reward you.”
This new way is called Centering Prayer. It does not replace the traditional way of praying but builds upon it. Come and join us as we learn this new method of
drawing close to God. Many of our church members practice Centering Prayer already and they invite you to join them.
The training will take place on Saturday, November 10th in Room 204.
Registration and refreshments begin at 8:30am.
The session itself begins at 9 a.m. and will last for approximately two hours. Contact Pastor John Luoma at firstname.lastname@example.org and let him know you are coming.
